Red One welcomes two new team members!

Following another year of continued business growth, Red One has expanded its core team with the appointment of two new team members. Nick Meade has joined Red One in the role of Sales Manager, while Chris Bridgeman takes up the position of Technical Support Manager, both based at the company’s headquarters in Exeter, Devon.

Nick Meade (pictured Left) has a wealth of professional sales and account management experience, having spent the past 28 years in executive sales positions within the insurance, property and training industries. A conscientious person with self discipline instilled from an exemplary military career, Nick has an absolute grasp on what is required to successfully manage key accounts with a natural analytical ability and an in-depth knowledge of training sales practices.

Meade said: “During my career I’ve have always focused on the needs of customers, identifying their ‘pain points’ and helping to find effective solutions to the day to day problems that they face. I am very excited to be joining Red One at a time when the Emergency Services are committed to deeper collaboration and finding new ways to work more closely together. I believe that Red One has much to offer customers looking to manage their Fire & Rescue Services and training provision in the most cost efficient and effective way.”

Chris Bridgeman (pictured Right) has spent 30 years within the Fire & Rescue Service, serving initially with Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service, during which he attended the Great Fire at Windsor Castle in 1992 and since 1994 within Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS), where over the course of his career he rose to the rank of Area Manager, responsible for Plymouth and Torbay. Chris finished his time at DSFRS Service Headquarters as Service Delivery Improvement Manager until his retirement in September 2015.

Chris was instrumental in the establishment of Water Rescue within DSFRS and is also a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineering (IFE). In October 2001, Chris was selected by the IFE to travel to Bogota, Columbia, where he delivered Incident Command training and Community Safety support to the Columbia Fire and Rescue Services. Chris was also heavily involved in the UK Rescue Organisation World Rescue Challenge 2004, an international event enabling firefighters from around the world to compete, learn and share RTC extrication skills.

Bridgeman said: “With Red One’s business growing exponentially, I am very much looking forward to helping support the business and its customers, offering my Fire and Rescue Service technical knowledge and experience to help our clients manage their risks and further develop their staff. We pride ourselves on providing high quality technical solutions to meet and exceed our customers requirements, and in so doing, we make their staff, their businesses and ultimately their communities safer!”

Commenting on the new appointments, Chris Thain, Red One’s Director of Business Development said: “We are delighted that Nick and Chris have further strengthened our team. As individuals and together they bring greater depth and breadth to Red One’s offering and will help us to ensure that our customers continue to receive the very highest levels of technical service and sales support.”
