Following the continued success of Red One’s acclaimed Fire Warden training course in Plymouth, we are pleased to announce that we are now able to host this essential training at our Exeter Service Headquarters.
Red One Fire Warden training is approved by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and is quality assured under our ISO9001 procedures. This training course is aimed at employees at all levels within an organisation, and features both theoretical fire safety and ‘hands-on’ practical fire extinguisher training within a safe and controlled environment.
The four hour course provides essential information for staff required to perform fire safety roles within offices, factories or any other business premises. We also have a Fire Wardens course designed especially for those employed in schools, colleges and other educational establishments.
The Fire Warden training course is presented in a clear, simple style and its learning outcomes are closely aligned to the National Occupational Standards (Level 2) for Fire Wardens/Marshals. Our highly experienced and knowledgeable trainers blend a traditional lecture presentation, featuring real examples of fire safety incidents with practical training in the appropriate selection and use of fire extinguishers in emergency situations.
The course content includes:
- The impact & reality of fire
- An introduction to UK fire law
- An introduction to fire risk assessment
- Means of escape from fire
- Fire alarms and fire fighting equipment
- The role of the Fire Warden/Marshal
For organisations with large numbers of employees that require Fire Warden training, we can also conduct this course at your premises. Please contact us to find out more.
