Experiential Training from Red One at the Emergency Services Show

The importance of regular, professional, experiential fire and rescue training for fire and rescue service staff and industrial fire teams should never be under-estimated. Only through consistent, thorough and accredited training, delivered by experts in each discipline, can the safety, security and competence of emergency services staff be assured.

This is the crucial message that Red One shall be pressing when we participate in the Emergency Services Show at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, UK from September 23/24, 2015. Our stand number is M40.

Red One is the UK’s leading fire and rescue training provider. Our success is based upon the fact that our training is delivered by our expert practitioners, fire officers and fire fighters with current experience and the highest qualifications who regularly attend real emergency incidents.

Our training is always immersive and experiential, meaning that for example, unlike other providers; we don’t use gas in our fire training. We train using carbonaceous burns, as this is the only way that our students can truly experience the heat, smoke, flame and noise of an actual fire. We believe that your training experience should realistically reflect what you are likely to face in real life, so that you are ready and prepared.

Red One also has great training facilities and equipment available. From our pair of three storey hot fire villas to cold smoke houses, attack containers, a maritime ship fire rig, our USAR collapsed building, water rescue venues, a confined space training complex and work at height towers that are also designed for wind turbine training, we have the right kit to ensure the very best learning for our students. We also make extensive use of E-Learning to support our students’ development and our ‘RescueSim’ software further enhances our acclaimed Incident Command training.

Based in Exeter, Devon and with additional training centres in Plymouth and Taunton, Red One offers more than 130 specialised courses covering all aspects of fire, rescue and safety and is constantly innovating new techniques for training delivery to meet changing operational standards and to ensure that students remain compliant, competent and confident.

At the Emergency Services Show 2015, Red One will demonstrate how, through our focus on professional, accredited, experiential training, we are redefining fire, rescue and safety, both in the UK and beyond. We sincerely hope that you will stop by our stand to discuss how we can help your organisation become safer!
