When seconds count at the scene of an accident or incident, the most effective people are those that stay calm and know exactly what to do under extreme circumstances. Anyone can be unexpectedly thrust into an emergency situation that demands a cool head and a focus on doing the right things at the right time. Red One’s First Aid School can now provide that essential first aid and First Person on Scene (FPOS) training to both emergency responders and individuals seeking to extend their emergency first aid skill set.
Red One courses offer practical, realistic and proven training to anyone working in or potentially coming into contact with First Aid during the normal course of their occupation. Our training instructors are highly experienced Fire Officers and Paramedics with first hand experience of providing emergency and trauma care at ‘real-life’ incidents.
Training can be undertaken either in-house at our training centres in Taunton, Plymouth and Exeter, and also at our clients premises.
The FPOS and First Aid courses provided by Red One are unique in that they are delivered by currently serving Fire and Rescue Service and Paramedic personnel. All our Instructors hold nationally recognised teaching qualifications from PTLLS through to Masters level. Our courses are delivered through a variety of proven educational protocols and blend both theory and practice to excellent effect.
There is a strong emphasis within all Red One courses to apply the learning protocols within a variety of incidents and situations and in a wide range of environments. Our team has a vast range of experience and individual areas of subject matter expertise. Bespoke tailored courses are available and our training courses can also be delivered at a suitable venue for you.
Red One is the UK’s leading fire and rescue training provider. Our success is based upon the fact that our training is delivered by our expert practitioners, fire officers and fire fighters with current experience and the highest qualifications who regularly attend real emergency incidents.
Our training is always immersive and experiential. We believe that your training experience should realistically reflect what you are likely to face in real life, so that you are ready and prepared.
Based in Exeter, Devon and with additional training centres in Plymouth and Taunton, Red One offers more than 130 specialised courses covering all aspects of fire, rescue and safety and is constantly innovating new techniques for training delivery to meet changing operational standards and to ensure that students remain compliant, competent and confident.
