The City & Guilds Training Scheme 6150 is the water industry standard. All water companies participated in the formulation of this scheme to ensure that training quality is consistent and accepted nationally.
CG 6150-05 is a course in Emergency Rescue and Recovery of Casualties in Confined Space, that runs for 5 days in total, or 2 additional days when combined with a previously taken CG6150-03 course.
Who is this course for?
Open enrolment – For those who are part of or are in the process of forming a dedicated rescue team.

- Medically fit and healthy
- Delegates must hold a valid C&G 6150-03 ‘Working in High Risk Confined Space’ qualification and must be in receipt of their certification at the time of the course

Assessment & certification
Assessment is by practical observation and written test.
All persons who successfully complete the practical and written test will receive a City & Guilds 6150-05 Certificate in Emergency Rescue and Recovery of Casualties in Confined Space and a site Identity Card. The certificate is valid for three years.
