Course Overview

This course provides essential  information for staff required to perform Fire Safety roles within offices, factories or any other business premises. The Fire Warden course is presented in a clear and simple style and its learning outcomes are closely aligned to the National Occupational Standards (Level 2) for Fire Wardens / Marshals. Highly experienced, knowledgeable and friendly trainers blend a traditional lecture with practical training in the correct selection and use of fire extinguishers.

Our Fire Warden course is quality assured under ISO9001 and is a recognised training course of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). 

Bespoke course can be arranged for groups of 6 or more candidates at a location convenient to you.

Who is this course for?
Individuals nominated as Fire Wardens, performing fire safety routine and emergency tasks and for general staff training.

  • Minimum age of 18

  • The impact & reality of fire
  • An introduction to fire law
  • An introduction to fire risk assessment
  • Means of escape from fire
  • Fire alarms and fire fighting equipment
  • The role of the Fire Warden/ Marshal
  • Practical fire extinguisher use on real fires

Assessment & certification
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

0.5 day – This course is presented at venues in Plympton, Taunton and Exeter.
