Compartment Fire Behaviour Training Instructor (CFBTI - 10 DAYS)
The aim of our competency based accredited CFBTI course is to train delegates to safely plan, as well as deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions in Compartment Firefighting including flashover and backdraught.
CFBTI is a specialist course consisting of realistic exercises, varied scenarios, theory sessions, professional discussions and written assignments.
Compartment fire behaviour...
is a key component of firefighter training, it enables students to understand the ‘science’ of fires, how fires behave depending on changes in environmental or structural conditions. Learning how to recognise as well as safely anticipate fire phenomena, such as backdrafts or flashovers before they occur is vital for firefighter safety.
Our CFBTI courses...
are always run with a maximum of 8 students with 4 instructors, they are designed to emulate realistic scenarios and are very hands-on. We are aware that other training providers offer larger group sizes however, we will not sacrifice student safety for increased revenue.
