CONFINED SPACE RESCUE TEAM OPERATIVES & SUPERVISORS

An excellent opportunity is available for skilled personnel to operate as Confined Space Standby Rescue teams in the Plymouth area. Applicants must be proven team players who are able to demonstrate and work in a highly professional manner. We are currently recruiting for Permanent Full Time Supervisors (Monday to Friday, 8 hour days), Permanent Full Time Operatives (Monday to Friday, 8 hour days), Fixed Term Full Time Operatives (Monday to Friday, 8 hour days) but also have an ongoing need for casual operatives with Various days and shifts available.

We have a constant need for staff in the dockyard.

The following skills and experience are desirable as detailed below. Opportunities for development will be available for the right candidates:

The areas of competency desired are detailed below:

• Competency Requirements
• H&S: CSCS Card or CSCS Partner Card
• Rope Access: IRATA L1-3 or Sprat L1-3 or Rescue 3 Rope Rescue Operator or above or Alternative recognised qualification
• Confined Space: City & Guilds High Risk CS and Emergency Rescue and Recovery or Rescue 3 Confined Space Operator or above
• First Aid: First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work or Outdoor First Aid or Alternative recognised qualification Oxygen and Defib trained
• Security Clearance- Must be able to gain full security clearance
• Training would be considered for the right candidate who has some but not all of the qualifications
• Supervisors – Must be fully qualified and also hold SSSTS, and Advanced First Aid such as FREC or RTACC
