Rescue Boat Operator

This 2-day Rescue Boat Operator course is suitable for people with little or no powerboat experience who wish to attain an inland boat handling and rescue boat capability on flat or slow-moving water.

It is crucial not to cut corners on the quality and breadth of the training

Powered boat operations in high energy river or flood environments can be the highest risk work that emergency service personnel will do.

Our instructors (serving firefighters of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service) are some of the most experienced boat operators around. We ensure that courses are delivered to an appropriate training level to exactly match your needs.
